Hog & Hedge

Hog & Hedge is the spot that you’d go to if you were heading to or passing through Dartmoor. They’re a cafe that gives customers a nice place to relax after a long drive with a coffee, cake, or something a bit more substantial. Hog & Hedge was looking for a way to simplify the sales process so that they could take orders quicker and get on with serving customers and building rapport, so they came to POS-Up for help with setting up a good EPOS system.

We got the cafe set up with Kounta on 2 iPads, along with an Epson printer solution. POS-Up also assisted in uploading the menu to Kounta and trained the staff about reporting and cashing up at the end of the day. We also took them through order processing and how the option sets and features worked. The cafe can now quickly take orders and payments at the POS, where an order docket is printed with all the order details, ready to prepare and deliver.
